SG Elections

With the SG elections heating up and so many fearful people already apologising to the ruling party and canditates switching parties and dissensions all about, it will be interesting to see what lays ahead of the future of the opposition parties in SG. Here's a good link to capture the spirit of the atmospehere.

Circular quay was displaying bear statues crafted by people from all around the world on the bears' bodies. However, looks like there were no displays of arts from the land of SG.

Someone called Marco Bok held a photographic exhibition in Custom House Library in Circular Quay on Sydney. Most of the photographs dated from 1991 - 2005. Pretty interesting. Look here.
There were also profound thoughts he mentioned in his works like if you had something of a specific type/species(e.g a dog), you would be always looking out for the same species when you look around because you know more abt that species.

Because of the commonwealth games, daylight savings time changed to a week later at 2nd April. Microsoft came out with a patch but you'll need to uninstall the patch sometime same time next year 2007 to correct back the time. Also Microsoft came out with some genuine authentication check, something fishy seems to be going on....

Biometric protected storage and SecuriKeys may protect yr PC from being stolen, but the crooks may just dismantle yr PC and take out the harddisk and other peripherals to sell as spare items instead. They say also that RoboForms will help you to keep clear of keystroke loggers by entering stored passwords automatically but we never know what is at the backend of Roboform's program; do they keep any database or access whatever you already store in Roboform program ? One more device is the touchscreen monitor - while it helps you "stay clear" of phishing like keystroke loggers, some loggers also employ tactique of tracking the buttons you press (which is how the touchscreen monitor push interface is employed)or a screen capture every few mins. So how is that secure ?
