Loss of the Battalions
Mood:  bright

Skywalker has successfully eliminated  the Coalition Deathstar ("workchoices")and prevented the deputy Costello aka Darth vader from gaining power to the Enterprise. Last vote tally was Liberals -55 ALP -84 Greens -2 seats. All eyes will be on seat of Bennelong where former journalist Maxine Mckew might unseat the Jedi-master Johnny.

What a slap on polling day

Owch! Wentworth ALP candidate got slapped in the face of all days - on polling day by award winning journalist Caroline Overington at the polling station -"Hell surely hath no fury like a woman scorned" - what a day to choose to exact total embarassment as voters watched on. Hoped it was not something he said or did on Friday night ...

Listen to Johnny the jedi-master last-ditch speech to pull in votes here.

Sg matrimonial breakdown news over internet

I cannot fathom how technologies can be used in such a convenient & bizzare way.

We have encountered incidents where a person gets fired by SMS from his mobilephone, Clinton's shame affair with his intern on the news. Now someone actually posted abt a failed marriage with the "suspected" third party photos included generating rave reviews over the internet..including on sg CNA Forum...

Most importantly, it provided a platform for networking with people of various nationalities across different businesses."
"Today, I am back with Citigroup. The friendly and warm culture is felt throughout and the experience has been most inspiring and motivating. I believe that there will be many more exciting challenges and career advancement opportunities with this world's largest financial services organization."

According to Janice's blog post on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, "The Other Woman":
"Her name is Rowena Chen... She's a colleague of my husband.. They both join a bank in Raffles Quay in June 2007. They both went to Geneva for training. She has recently ROM and is only 25-26 yrs old. She knew he has a wife and we are expecting our first child. She has her own husband... "

Not quite sure how the male protagonist here manage to get away with it but somehow the saying "男人不坏,女人不爱," strikes a chord here...given that the guy is a father, I wonder if he would be binded to pay alimony fees...
