Aftermath of the New year's eve revelry

Sydney's New Year eve revelry always tend to be rowdy and chaotic with people taking on to the streets like a pack of hungry wolves. On the very next day, the whole place is all too quiet and almost deserted like a ghost-town with of course loads of rubbish like broken bottles to clear. Unless of course if you have the Myers or David Jones big sale, then you'll see crowds like this:

 Okay, it's gonna be start of the new year (that time of the year again) in half an hour's time. As with each new year, my new year's  resolution would be to eat less, trim down and be stronger .Of course the advice here helps too:

 

 

Bewoulf's animation
There is something about the movie "Beowulf". Iam not sure if actual actors are cast in the film. It seems that not only does the monster Grendel looks like the character in "Lord of the  Rings" but his mother looks like Angelina Jolie (see left picture.)& the queen looks like Shrek's wife.. There's a lot of digital animation and remastery in this movie, nevetheless the geist of the story seems to be saying that everyone of us has a demon within us that we seek to combat... Hmmm...it seems pretty similar to the protrayal of animals as one's personal demons in the "Golden Compass" .
